The Network Monitor Parsers packages contain parsers for more than 400 network protocols, including RFC based public protocols and protocols for Microsoft products defined in the Microsoft Open Specifications for Windows and SQL Server. NetworkMonitor_Parsers_version.msi is the base parser package which defines parsers for commonly used public protocols and protocols for Microsoft Windows.
In this release,
• 10 new parsers were added into the base Network Monitor Parsers package for protocols: MC-DPL4CS, MC-DPL4R, MC-DPL8CS, MC-DRT, MC-FPSEWM, MC-IISIAQ, MC-NPR, MS-EMFPLUS, MS-LWSSP and PIDF.
• 9 NFS ancillary protocol parsers were refactored: Mount.npl, nfs.npl, nlm.npl, nsm.npl, payload.npl, rmsi.npl, sunrpc.npl, sunrpcbind.npl and unm.npl.
• 44 existing parsers were updated.
This 3.4.2590 version of Network Monitor Parsers is compatible with all the latest released add-on parser packages. It is released together with Network Monitor Parsers for SQL Server 3.4.2590. The SQL package has 3 new parsers for protocols: MC-CSDL, MC-EDMX, MS-ODATA and an update for the MS-SSCLRT parser.
Every parser MSI package here has been tested and approved compatible with the
Network Monitor 3.4 RTW release. Be aware that any changes in
Source Code may not yet be fully tested for release. But with our open source initiative, you can feel free to download them yourself and try them out.
Parser Field Naming ChangeIn order to provide a better user experience, we have included a Parser Field Naming Change list between the last CodePlex release
3.4.2554 and the current release. It has listed all the parser field changes, either a type change, or an instance change, or both. The users can update their applications or filters accordingly.
