Searching for a parser

With so many parsers (which is good), I find it a little hard to determine whether there is a parser for what I want.

1. Is there any easier way to search than visually scanning down the alphabetical list of parser names?  Maybe a substring search, or even better a search on some additional metadata like alternate names for protocols, or tags?

2. I am looking for the ability to look at video and audio streams, to be able to determine which stream format is used (MPEG, Flash, H.264, etc.).  Do any parsers get up to the layers where that would be visible?

Hi Dick,

1) I don't think there is a place for searching. However, if you can guess the name of a protocol, expand "Protocols" node, and type the name with keyboard, e.g. if you are looking for http protocol, just type "http" in object view pane, it would be selected.

2) I think it depends on if the transport protocol is supported. For example, we have good support for http, you can search the multi-media content transported on HTTP by applying a filter. Use "property.httpcontenttype.contains("flash")" to find the flash contents.
